The Double Scents Stack
The Double Scent Stack is a scent heater I invented with the help of my uncle Jerry Mastin. He was a candle maker so we decided to make deer scented candles. Ours are the only candles out there with real deer urine in it. He has one he calls The Double Whammy with a pull off bottom and mine has a screw on bottom with a stake system that turn 360 degrees to keep it level even on a hillside. Now the way it works is you unscrew the bottom and light your candle of scent choice then put your candles in the lid and screw it back on. Then stake it in the ground and get it level. Then you take the 1oz. tin that comes with it and fill it with the scent that matches the candle and you have twice the scent going out to the deer, bear or coyote.
A candle scent molecules can travel up to 500 yards with the right conditions. And it really works well on those cold day's when regular scent doesn't put out the scent very well. It is like when you can smell supper cooking from outside you home this works on the same principle.
Now I have had allot of people say they don't want to burn their woods down and I don't either so we tested and tested this to make sure it was safe and it is if it gets knocked over it just goes out.
We also buried one in pine needles,toilet paper.and dry leaves to test it and still never started a fire.
We took tempature readings and it got to around a 165 to 170 degrees on top of the can. And when it's cold out it didn't even get that hot. (SO IT"S SAFE !!!!!)
